I’ve been out swinging my hat and enjoying a few festivals. Lots of cool performances and meetings with colleagues during CPH Stage with the launch of UPgrade International, which I have been working on for a couple of months. Followed directly by the Folkem\u00f8de (People’s Meeting \u2013 a big political platform festival) at Bornholm to meet with some other people and enjoying this cozy relaxed togetherness on Bornholm – we had a bunch of really nice people living at BIRCA. If you just know a little about me, you will know that both places I have been in my zone \ud83d\ude42 – together with other people, in dialogue about the things that are meaningful for me.<\/p>\n

I’m still on my beautiful BIRCA on Bornholm – but now for a whole week alone. And that’s a peculiar thing … but I really get some work done. Some periods are for fun and networks, others to work hard and move in a more constructive way. My spring time has been constructive and busy \u2013 and now it is time to get all this knowledge and material out into the world.<\/p>\n

I just hosted a webinar with Honne Dohrmann about dance, danceinstitutions and how to renew, develop amd collaborate\u00a0 \u2013 se recording here<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Honne will come to BIRCA in September, where he is guest teacher at the first Artistic Entrepreneurship course.<\/strong> This is a course I have developed with my new business partner Sofie Haag. I have presented her before – but you can read about her here<\/a>. Several people have requested a physical course based on the tools I use – and now I do it \u2013 together with people who can complement my skills – so you really get a full package. This box named UPgrade International<\/strong> (in English) was launched under CPH Stage – and I’m really proud of the work we have done. The focus for me has been to create useful material – for new ones, but also the more experienced producers. That’s why learning is done through a number of exciting workbooks where Sofie and I have gathered all our knowledge and the best tips and tricks \u2013 this material is then linked with introductory videos, sections with information about most things around the international market as well as casevideo from Danish performing artists.
