AUTUMN WITH CULTURE, COACHING AND MOVING
10. September 2020
It’s blowing outside here at BIRCA and we’ve had to light up the wood stove, a sign that the season is about to end. BUT … before that happens, we have a culture week program to present – and I am super proud of how much it will be this year.
First we start the upcoming Sunday 13/9 with a nice little program with a total of 5 young / new artists: 3 times Iceland Connect work-in-progress with the groups Joker’s Dinner from Denmark, Creo Dance Company from Greece and Croatian Soundspiel, the German-Danish choreographer Antoinette Helbing and Manon Duquesnay, who grew up on Bornholm but now are based in Spain. Young international performing arts – it is no longer a given that we can show this and I am gratefull that we are still able to – it means the world to the artists, and I hope the local audience will also appreciate it (even though we have to keep the numbers down).
But me and BIRCA are also involved in two other cultural week events here on Bornholm. Ilon Lodewijks shows her installation performance “Ting” i Gudhjem – a project she has developed during a free corona residency stay at BIRCA this spring – and I was so in love with it that I enticed the Culture Week to show it. We end the week with Kulturreaktoren – a large climate project by the Kunstpartiet, which will travel around Klemensker and Rønne to end at Lykkelund Gedemejeri, where Christian Gade Bjerrum in his alter ego DON CHRI-HOT meets the local donkey. The project visits a total of 7 islands in Denmark.
If you happen to be here and read Danish or are just very curious you can find more info here
With the fall, the corona has also started to sneak around again. I have therefore had to make the decision to cancel the September Artistic Entrepreneurship course – it’s just not the time to gather a group of international performing arts people. But, but there is something else going on …
1) I am creating a new international mastermind from 1/10. Those of you who have done sessions with me before gets it cheaper – for new ones you just have to go through my mini service first with 2 start sessions. There has been demand since I did not make one in the spring – so now the chance is there again. The program run over 5 months – I am by your side and will guide you on a sustainable path in your professional life. Read more about this process here. There is only room for 8 – so that I can really immerse myself in each one of you.
2) There is also the opportunity to join Sofie Marine’s online Arts Dynamic Entrepreneur Mastermind, where I occasionally have online sessions. Sofie is brilliant (otherwise I would not have her as a co-teacher on my own workshops), and she is creating a super nice dynamic international group with people from several art genres. The two courses (hers and mine) actually complement each other really well. You can make a subscription per month for $ 37 – you order it here – or pay for a whole year for a total of $ 397 – it can be ordered here. There are two monthly meetings and every month there is an exciting master class – in August it was about Clarity and just today the new one comes about Money, money, money (she is Swedish). Huge recommendation from here – and it is here in the beginning you have a benefit of joining and can get personal guidance from Sofie, who really knows something about marketing and business.
3) My mini service – yes many people have been happy to benefit from this. In fact, I have never made so many of them as now. There are many who need a little more clarity about where they are and where they are going. It is 3 sessions and it only costs DKK 2,500/ € 340 plus VAT – contact me if interested.
This fall also brings a move on a personal level. My sweet husband and I have decided it’s time for a change. We have spent 22 years in our lovely townhouse in Sorgenfri with a focus on our family. Now there are only the two of us left and we want to go on adventures. So we have super quickly sold our house and bought a condominium on Holmen in Copenhagen. So from 12/10 I have an address in the city again – and I get my own nice office, where I will be able to do coaching in the future. If you pass by Copenhagen, I hope I can welcome you here. There are actually 3 guestrooms connected to the complex…
And yes, I also just got elected to the IETM’s advisory board – I look forward to contributing to the organization I myself have enjoyed so much. It’s time to give back. Please let me know if I can bring anything to the table here.
I hope autumn brings good things your way!
Much love
Susanne
