happy glimpses

I’ve just been through a strategy process with the lovely Danish contemporary circus group GLIMT – Lars Gregersen, Camila Sarrazin and Jonas Schou Hansen. They were so happy when we were finished and had decorated their entire wall with post-ITs with thoughts, ideas and plans for the future – I just had to share this photo.

I really love to do this work. It is so meaningful, and the people I work with are just so appreciative of how much clarity it creates for them. Is there anything better than seeing one’s work have so much influence, to make yourself available to others’ visions and help them to see what they have in themselves and get it to unfold?

In this case, we have worked with the company’s specific development plans, and created strategies for how to develop locally, nationally and internationally – and how they prioritize each area and why – what is the aim of their work in the form money, profiling and development. What makes the most sense for them, what they are passionate about. We have made SWOT analysis to see look into how to work with area – what strength, weaknesses, possibilities and threats they have, and we have made a stakeholder analysis to look at, who is in their network and who would be great to play with in the future.

But we have also been working a lot with the notion of TEAM – how do you get a team to function, how do we see each other more clearly and know what each other are capable of – so everyone gets to do what they do best and love most. We used my new tool the Wealth Dynamics system and The Passion Test. But we also looked at how to structure every day best, when to hold meetings, and how to make small rituals that create context for everybody.

I actually love when things are also being so specific – we can have very big visions, but we also have to function in everyday life.
